Melanie Holt is a professional actor based in Sydney, Australia and LA. She has starred in several feature films including ELOISE, the US/Australian feature 6000 MILES FROM HOLLYWOOD, and the Australian/Scottish co-production LIFE COACH.

She recently starred at Belvoir St Theatre in BLACK MILK for B Sharp, playing the lead role of Poppet. Other stage credits include the leading role of Lisa in the Australian premiere of THE GLORY OF LIVING by Rebecca Gilman, Carol in David Mamet's OLEANNA, as well as numerous other roles on both stage and TV.

Described by Sydney's leading newspaper as "a young Naomi Watts" and by another as "one young actor destined to go places", Melanie has studied under the notable LA acting coach David Farkas, at the Leslie Kahn Institute (LA), three years in the Meisner technique, with the Atlantic Theatre Company, and also holds an Advanced Diploma in Theatre.
